    Problems with footwear recently bought?

BFA has available to the public a free leaflet from the Office of Fair Trading which tells you what to do if you are in dispute with a retailer after buying unsatisfactory footwear.

Called "Knowing Your Rights", the leaflet outlines the steps to take and sources of advice for consumers. It introduces you to the legal background, and has information on the Footwear Code of Practice - a voluntary scheme for reputable businesses which uses the services of an independent Footwear Testing Centre for decisions on fault in construction or wear of a shoe. Call BFA on 0171-580-8687 for a copy of the leaflet "Knowing Your Rights".
