Where
to start
Try to find out the brand
or company which manufactures the shoes from the advert, commercial
or person where you first discovered your dream pair. That way,
you will have a good starting point to direct your search.
Make
a note of the publication where your shoes were advertised
If you found the shoes in a magazine, often the publication will
feature a list of telephone numbers and contact addresses for products
featured in the issue so that you can get in touch with the appropriate
company.
Check
the Net
Type in the brand name of the shoes you desire into a search engine.
Even if you don't know the accurate website address, the search
engine could point you in the right direction so that you can discover
a list of stockists or purchase online.
Contact a Footwear Directory or Association
Visiting Shoeworld.com is the most productive way to embark on a
mission of this kind because of our extensive database and mailing
list submissions. Many companies now advertise on our directories
to improve their chances of being found on the Internet. Shoeworld.com
is supported and endorsed by the UK's official footwear body, the
British
Footwear Association, so not only can we rely on our own
resources and experience, we can contact this long established and
highly regarded association which has access to a massive index
of footwear companies throughout the world.

Thanks for the email...
These shoes were designed by Thea Cadabra in 1980. The design
is called "Maid's Shoe". I have a picture of the same shoe
which is owned by the Norton Family Foundation, Los Angeles,
California: this may be a good place to start looking. The
shoe may have been a one-off. However, if you find someone
who has stocked footwear by this designer in the past, you
may be able to source a pair from old stock.
They are fabulous!
Best of luck with the search.
